RCI FirstPathway Partners Joins USCCC

During a recent visit by USCCC President, Siva Yam, RCI FirstPathway Partners was invited to join The United States of America-China Chamber of Commerce. RCIFPP is proud to be a member of this worthwhile organization.

The United States of America-China Chamber of Commerce (USCCC) is a not-for-profit, bi-national membership organization dedicated to developing increased U.S.-China trade and investment activities by assisting American and Chinese companies, professionals and the general public to better understand the business environments and cultural traditions relevant to successfully doing business in both .

RCI FirstPathway Partners would like to thank the former Consul General, Huang Ping for his continued commitment to enhancing ties between Wisconsin and China.  His friendship over the past 3 years has been an everlasting source of pride for all of us.

RCI FirstPathway Partners would also like to welcome Guoqiang Yang, the new Consul General of the People’s Republic of China to the region.  Guoqiang Yang comes to the consulate from a post as Deputy Chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce (SCOFCOM). We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with him and his staff.

RCI FirstPathway Partners was honored to host Kevin Yuan of Nanjing, China this week.  During his visit Mr. Yuan met with high level MMAC officials to discuss EB5. Yuan also toured projects and areas of development throughout the region including The Pabst City Development, The Menomonee Valley and others. RCI FirstPathway Partners looks forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Yuan and Qiaoye Investment Consulting Co.,Ltd.

RCIFPP Hosts Ningbo Officials

RCI FirstPathway Partners (RCIFPP) was proud to assist Bangjie He, Ambassador of Ningbo to the US, in hosting China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Ningbo Sub-Council (CCPIT) /China Chamber of Commerce Ningbo Chamber (CCOIC) Chairman, Mr. Zheng Wei Gu and Chief of the Ningbo Dept of International Exhibition, Mr. Wei FU.

During their visit to Milwaukee guest’s toured RCIFPP headquarters, the Harley Davidson Museum, and other points of interest around Milwaukee. RCIFPP was honored to host such esteemed guests.

Aloft Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Over 100 invited guests gathered to mark the addition of the Aloft Hotel to Milwaukee’s river walk, during a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, December 17th 2009. Distinguished speakers included  Department of City Development Commissioner  Rocky Marcoux, Alderman Nik Kovac, Antonio Riley of the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority and Aloft officials.

The Aloft Hotel- Milwaukee is a pending project in RCI FirstPathway Partners (RCIFPP) EB5 fund portfolio. “The Aloft project has the perfect combination of investors, underwriters and management, combined with city, county, state and federal government financial support. It creates a big win for the City of Milwaukee.” Commented Bob Kraft CEO of RCI FirstPathway Partners.

The Aloft, a brand of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. is located downtown at 1230 N. Old World Third St., in the Park East corridor. It is the first Aloft location in southeastern Wisconsin. The completed five-story, 160-room hotel in downtown Milwaukee  features 5,000 square feet of meeting space, a fitness center, an indoor pool overlooking the riverwalk and the Wxyz Bar in the lobby/lounge area. Nearby attractions include the Milwaukee River, The Bradley Center (home of the Milwaukee Bucks) and trendy local bars/restaurants.

According to RCIFPP’s USCIS approved job creation methodology, The Aloft Hotel will create 471 direct and indirect jobs.  “RCIFPP is proud to have this internationally recognized property in its EB5 Citizenship Fund portfolio,” – Bob Kraft.

The Grand Opening is to be held in January of 2010.

RCIFPP Signs Taiyuan MOU

This week Bob Kraft, Chairman and CEO of RCI FirstPathway Partners,  signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the City of  Taiyuan in the Shanxi Province.  The MOU shows support for RCI FirstPathway Partners’  EB5 efforts  and serves to foster trade between the Milwaukee region and Taiyuan.  This endorsement is forecasted to bring many immigrant investors to Milwaukee and grow business relations between the regions.

Bob Kraft also hosted a sucessful seminar at the Taiyuan World Trade Hotel on Friday, November 6th.

China Overseas Investment Fair

RCI FirstPathway Partners CEO, Bob Kraft will host guests in the US Pavilion at the first official China Overseas Investment Fair sponsored by the China National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). The event will take place at the China World Trade Center, Beijing November 3-4, 2009. We are excited to be a part of this event.
